Also, I always appreciate that your images are richly saturated without being over-saturated. Except for the post process technique, what is the key to that? Do these projection lenses in general allow that saturation? Which camera do you use?

Akira, I have set my camera and my very simple PP routine to match how I see my world. I use Panasonic LUMIX cameras GH1/GH2/GH4 mainly, this one was shot using a GH1.

Projection lenses are generally sharp, and have good to high contrast (except some quite old ones) as this was needed to project high quality films to the pleasure of an audience in movie theaters. Most of the modern ones use (modified) double gauss lens schemes and have modern multi-coatings.

Thanks, Klaus, for the disclosure. It is well understandable that the projection lenses offers high contrast images, as they are designed to work in the harshest lighting conditions!

But the rich color saturation can be an added bonus.

I loved my GH2 and GX8. Panasonic cameras seems to have some hidden treasure...on condition that they are used masterfully.

Unfortunately this is quite true, when I started using and collecting them, some VISIONAR
lenses could be bought for $20-30, now they are around $100 and beyond...
