No, this is a much later one, I mean the original brass Hermagis projection lenses not SOM. It might still be Petzval scheme.

SOM Berthiot ("Société d'Optique et de Mécanique"), founded 1857, bought teh muck older company HERMAGIS, founded 1845, in 1934 and integrated them into their business, so Hermagis disappeared and was just used as a brand name by them later.

I see.  Thanks for the clarification!  I've only known Som Bertiot only for the c- or d- mount cine lenses.

Friend of mine and old style surrealistic Painter was my model yesterday in the Park,
ist just so happened out of coincidence...







...and I was painting him using my camera and an old Philips radiographic 1.5/100mm projection lens ;-)

Thanks! Well, that was "designed", as I noticed that this lens has this effect due to the very strong
front lens curvature and working w/o sun shade against the sun helps to create such effects ;-)
