Oh, I simply love the first one Akira. The woman in red is like a red berry in a meadow of greens.

First one is terrific - outstanding color combination and contrast.
In the second shot I don't see prominence of any particular color, unlike rest of the shots in this series.

Sten and Anirban, thanks for the comments.

That was exactly the inspiration.  Glad you sensed that.

I would have to agree.  But, hey, this is a thread for the "experiments".  The unprocessed image was way more boring, and the reflection on the entire facade made of glass made the interior look washed out.  I tried to raise the contrast by tweaking not only the "contrast" slider but also the "dehaze" one in ACR.

Enjoying your experiments Akira, with extra points for the bershka image. Completely agree with Sten here.

I see a lot of similarities between #1 and #2. Basic composition changes however from  rectangle in the first to a triangle in the second but both use red as the lead colour.

What is the importance of the prominent NPC signs in the third image? You do seem to exist in a colourful city ...

Paco, glad you like the experiment.  As mentioned, that was what inspired me to shoot the Bershka image.  :)

The point of the image is various repetition of squares, triangles, diamond shapes, etc.  The NPC sign would be included as part of that rhythm, but the sign could stand out a bit too much...

I posted another image of the same motive sometime ago, but this was shot today and processed for this thread.
