Thank you, Armand.  The color saturation is extremely boosted in C1.

I love your experiment! I wonder how it works in square format.
Perhaps a new theme around experimental color abstracts?

Thank you, Peter, for stopping by.

Since I briefly tried a Hasselblad during the film days, I have always been interested in the square format.  And I somehow believe that the square format is one promising way for the abstraction.

But I have tried to stick to the full image frames of the sensors, which I consider to be part of this particular experimental concept.

Enjoying this one a lot Akira. Attractive patterns and presentation, no idea of what or size nor function. Sci-fi vibes, some mechanical skin...older videogame floor design come to life? Graphics, texture and lighting all come together.
Still wondering what it is  :)

Glad you enjoyed it, Paco!  This is part of the facade of the Louis Vuitton building in Ginza, Tokyo.  The lights shining through the pattern of the wall appear to be LEDs, but the entire wall was lit with mixed street lights.

I think your description of the image is spot on!

Great thread Akira :)

Thank you, Fons!

And a very enjoyable one. The color contrast a minimal approach lets the viewer easily get visual punch. Calm. Color shades pulls emotions both ways to achieve balance.
I´m still looking at it  :)

Thank you, Anthony.

What you are seeing in the image are: a brown (not white) chicken egg, a piece of kitchen paper of the towel-like texture and a clear glass bottle.

I happened to find that the brown egg looks strongly saturated red under the 365nm UV flashlight with the Baader U filter.   So, I put it on the kitchen paper and added a bottle to make the image more like the traditional still life oil paint.  The image was shot in total darkness, and the only light source was the UV flashlight with the filter.  There was very faint visible light leak which cast the shadow of the egg.  The kitchen towel fluoresced in faint blue.  During the process, I just raised the exposure a bit and trimmed the frame.  So, there was no significant manipulation.

The camera is Sigma fp and the lens is CRT Nikkor 55/1.2 shot at f2.0.
