There were 2 sections: The area captured and the inner basilika, which had a service and was open at the time at least.

When I was shooting the outside of the church the Sunday Service was still ongoing ... rushing into the church, taking lots of shots with two cameras, being rushed out by church personnel ... all took 5 minutes ... gosh ... I love it that German churches are generally open to the public. Places of quiet amidst the noise of the city.
