That's weird, I have never seen such artefacts with DxO.

Neither have I. Weird indeed.

It happens creating a .tiff in dxo and opening the tiff in ps.
i have contacted dxo for support but we havenot managed to sort it.
So it only happens when chosing standard noise reduction!
Thank you.

Thanks for the explanation, Fons.

PureRaw only offers the various types of DeepPrime noise reduction and I only ever use it to produce .dng files. May the problem be resolved soon!

Thanks, interesting, I cannot recreate this effect. Are there other specific circumstances where this effect occurs?

Unusual indeed. I’ve never seen it in my DxO tif file. Is it only visible in PS or in other softwares too?

Its an example, i seldom use denoising software. The artifacts are in the dxo tiffs!
I will do some more research!

A simple test with dxo denoising setting
no software tweaking a bit of exposure
first image with standard denoise, 2nd with deep prime 3
dxo photolab 9.5
exported as tiff opened in ps 27.0
generated jpgs at 80%
