May not quite as attractive except for the dogs - Ruffed Grouse takeoff with Z8, 500mm f/5.6 PF.

Thanks Jürgen. They can be quite fast to the dogs frustration, only 50ms between the two frames. I was lucky to get it this time without using pre-capture.

Thank you John. She likes dressing in interesting ways and we have a shooting planned but it hasn't happen yet.

Just curious - was it shot on film, or is that a special light blue repeating watermark added?

Colin the blue stripes are artifacts produced by dxo software while applying standard noise reduction, doesnt appear with a different noise reduction setting.

That's weird, I have never seen such artefacts with DxO.

What are the circumstances which tend to create these?
