Another one of Castle Stalker:

The Buachaille with Coupall River:

I see that you have returned to Castle Stalker...
And you have also been to take that shot of Buachaille Etive Mor I could not find the time for. I have to go back for that one...

I've prepped some jpegs but I don't know if I dare show them, with everyone posting such amazing work. Scotland certainly seems to have got the creative juices flowing, and my "standard landscapes" begin to look a little tired.

I will post them, if only because there will be some information (correct names for example) which may be useful.

  1. At the lodges. The woods right beside our 3 lodges.
  2. Beinn na Chruilaste - where Glen Coe and Glen Etive meet.
  3. Bluebell, Cuildochart Forest - where a number of us went on Wednesday morning.
  4. Coiletir Cottage - beneath the large mountain at the bottom of Glen Etive.
  5. Glen Ogle Forest - where some of us went on dull, cold Friday morning.
  6. Falls on the River Coupal - we stopped here twice and parked in trees beside a bridge,
  7. River Coupal (2) - shot in the last moments of sunshine from that bridge.
  8. Canoist - River Etive
  9. River Etive (2) - near where it meets the waters of the fjord.
10. Storm damage - Glen Etive.

Finally safe home, backup made, starting to sort, delete & edit. Never did serious action before, nor tele and the D500 / 200-500 as a new tool.

A grand day out:
1) Explorers (Simsurace, Bez, Simato)
2), 3), 4) people on the beach
5), 6), 7), 8) dogs playing
9) Bez tired, Frank shooting, Simsurace reflecting, Simato approaching
10) landscape impressions

No need for me to have been there - I am experiencing Scotland thru several eyes  ;D
Probably much better than my own anyway !
