The Kelpies - Inspired by Jakov and Jan Ann

I kept the distinctive blue circle at the edge of the image, it is formed by the lens itself i.e. the optical design of the circular Nikon Nikkor Fisheye lenses such as the 8mm and here the 6mm f/2.8.

There are many ways to shoot the Kelpies.  I am sure others have their own.

Both the Simones have produced some beautiful images - in particular Simato's woodland details, and Simsurace's portraits which I think show real talent. All those portraits are terrific, and the one of me is the best shot of me by anyone, ever - thank you.

I had the pleasure of borrowing Francis' Heligon 68/1.25 for a brief moment just to compare it to mine, and I have to say that it's great!
We are taking good care of Bjørn with bananas, industrial coffee and good company
