The harvest from this week is looking good.
Let me start with a few impressions from the Highlands. As Simone Tomasi already recounted, we did an extensive hike last Sunday. It was really great to have the light and excellent 300 PF with me to shoot some detailed shots of distant things.
The last one is a three-shot pano of soft grass and moss against the background hills.

Thank you Simone! We had a super week together with Bez and Signore Tomasi!!!! Thank you.
I nearly forgot the shopping tour with Anthony and Thomas .... Good Crief!!!
And you did a great job testing the AF performance of the D500 + 200-500/5.6
Example: "without sunglasses"

Has anybody forgotten a Musto dark blue rain jacket?
Simone found it when we were clearing out the lodges.
I have it and I will ship it to the lucky winner :)

Here is a shot from Dave's garden taken with a newly chipped Heligon thanks to Erik and Bjørn!

A few portraits of participants.
Did not get everyone unfortunately. I think Frank completed his portrait challenge, haven't you Frank?

Simone. Maybe. Maybe not. I have not been on the road with
everybody. The people that came in our group got some significant
coverage....

A few boat impression from Mallaig. We had nice summer temperatures (around 27 degrees Celsius I think) and amazing seafood. The stroll around the port was very relaxing.

Both the Simones have produced some beautiful images - in particular Simato's woodland details, and Simsurace's portraits which I think show real talent. All those portraits are terrific, and the one of me is the best shot of me by anyone, ever - thank you.

Have these mugshots been nicked from the local constabulary?   ;)
