Finally some wifi access, though dreadfully slow and sharing with 10 other NG members
On our way out of Isle of Lewis we visited a small sand beach for a change in scenery.

We spend Friday night in a little village on the shore of Loch Ness, the next morning we drove South passing Fort August where we found this lovely boat.

Today some of us visited Killin, Daves very picturesque little home town.
In Killin we visited the local Kinnell Stones, the sheep were shedding their coats providing a unique opportunity for a high contrast image

These are images from Edinburgh that do not include flowers. I am so proud of myself for being able to make some other kind of images.
We didn't have an internet connection yesterday when I made these images, so please excuse me
I really enjoyed Edinburgh.

Mercury Transit was the big common factor for activities today, on the 9th May.
As the planet is very small, it is not easily seen and in this depiction, I made it stand out in red against an inverted solar disk.

Jakov, the last two reminds me of "Physical Graffiti".
Jan, your subjects works very well with the B&W treatment.
Bjørn, thanks for the Mercury in Transit image. In which wavelength region did you capture it?

Here is a multiple exposure of the Sun.
You will see a sun spot on the top and Mercury on the lower trajectory.
Many thanks to Bjørn for his assistance and wisdom!
