Congratulations on the purchase, Gary. Hope it will fit all your needs.
Good portrait, Frank, but it stands more out in B&W. Partly because of the somewhat distracting bokeh in color. The 35/1.4 is very suitable for B&W.

The schoolconcert, number one, but I would have recovered the highlights with more detail.

Some lens-stuff arrived which will keep me busy the coming days...

Frank, I also prefer the B&W one.  I like the contours of the figures.  Also, the open door to the next room is less detracting in B&W.

BW too. The door and poster on the back are too distracting in color

Brono . You work is rather interesting . yet I feel no clear direction . please be more decicive . more daring .
Thanks Frank. I'm 100% dilettante so my direction is my curiosity and the joy of experimentation. Not something very visible, I agree. I pick images I find aesthetically pleasant but can't explain why.

Yes, around the edge. Probably on the inside. Must figure out how a 135mm/2.8 Ai is constructed. The backside of the lens is a complete 'disaster' by the way. ;)

Bill, i like this one, typical American home with a porch, so warm and inviting, New England perhaps?

Thank you Fons!

The house is very near mine here in Norfolk, Virginia

The schoolconcert, number one, but I would have recovered the highlights with more detail.

Her skin texture is very much to what your would expect from a girl that age, so a softer mixdown is favorable here.

Interesting how the tastes are different. The first one is the most natural, the second one features some pumped color contrast, the third pic is developed for darkly.

Here is another shot, all of them with 1.4/35mm some @1.4 some @2.0

Crop: no door
