 Yes, the whole area will be rebuilt. Unfortunately those pruned Limes (Linde) will be removed due to a new big sewer-system.

John - that's sad with those Linden trees! It will certainly change the city. I'm very fortunate to have old and tall Linden trees just outside my door. If those were to be cut down I think I would consider moving.

Frank - that statue seems to stare at you like he just asked you a question and awaits the answer.. I prefer the BW.

This belongs to last Thursday the 25th feb 2016, the Pearle building on the corner has collapsed last night it was being renovated.
The building next to it "De Kleine Winst" has been the former workshop of the painter Jheronimus Bosch, statue.
I took this shot last Thursday after going to the J. Bosch exposition.

Scary story Fons - hope noone was hurt. Those are very old houses if Bosch had his workshop there. Paintings of Bosch are fascinating .. and his depictions of hell can make you slightly uneasy.

Yes it's sad. Too many trees have suffered from the building-and re-building mob and corrupted the city civil servants with their 'financial' influence. The only cure is planting more trees
