I've been super busy, but tonight Mary Lou and I dined in Seal Beach. After dinner we literally walked across the street for this ...

Thomas #225. Great effect. Continue to experiment with it.

Gary. Very romantic. I am currently anxious of the sea, esp. the Pacific Ocean. All this movement and volcanic activity. I am concerned about all friends and familiy living in reach of Tsunamis. Take care.

Frank - #228 was nicely seen by you, it is very pleasing to just look at all the details in that blue.

John, great colors and I think I prefer wide open.

Thanks Frank and Chip.

Well it's a test for the limits ;)  Actually I prefer the wide open;  the transition between sharp and unsharp on that very delicate bloompedals is perfectly done and creates the 'dreamery-effect' where I am looking for. Color-rendition is very good, considering large parts are in the shadow.  I even had to de-saturate.

Lovely Fisheye-shot, Chip. That 10.5mm is a very usefull lens, I guess?

Like that blue shot, Frank, and the repetition with the reds.

Thomas, just to be a bit picky but those look very much like Wood Pigeons to me! I have a pair living in a tree at the the bottom of my garden!

My apologies if Ring Dove is a local name
