Tristin,
you nailed a very nice spring shot! Like the combination of blossom and blossomed flower.

Nice, creative use of the oof flower to set against the sharp bud.

Looks like a Bellis? Neat little flower heads on that one. Good use of negative space as well. Were this my photo I had pulled down the highlights ever so slightly as they are rendered on the very bright side.

I noticed you have stacked 2 close-up lenses  (5T & 6T) onto your 200/4 Nikkor. You are probably aware this is against all textbook advice, however, as always, it is the final result that counts.

Do yourself the favour of putting the strongest dioptre lens first (6T), then add the 5T. That should cause the least degradation of the image quality.

Adding extension to the 200 is also a good way of bringing it to closer focusing, but as the focal length is long, you do need substantial extra extension in order for this to be helpful. Combining some extension with close-up attachment(s) might be a solution as well. Only trial and error can point to the most appropriate approach.

Bjorn, quite aware.  Also remember you saying that the 200mm f/4 takes the closeup lenses better when they are reversed.  I haven't mentioned this on NG yet, but I am technically homeless and have to keep my gear collection to what can fit in my backpack along with my other needed items that aren't photography gear.  Extensions, dedicated macro lenses, etc. are undoubtedly better tools for jobs like this, but my backpack can only hold so much.  The 200mm is quite handy to have, but not in love with the images it produces.  Really wish it had another stop, so I am itching to get a 180mm f/2.8.  Problem is, the 200mm f/4 fits my current filters and can be used in conjunction with my 50mm for high magnification images while the 180mm f/2.8 would require me to carry more filters, can't use my closeup lenses and can't mate to my 50mm for high magnification.  Though I am sure I would love using it far more outside of macro.  Balances and compromise.   :'(  If I decide to stick with the 200mm f/4, I will be getting a ring to mount the filters reversed.

Btw, I always put the 6T before the 5T. ;)

Tristin, I just now checked: The 180/2.8 ED Ais works with the 5T and 6T close up lenses;  use a 72mm to 62mm step-down ring.
The 5T and 6T also work this way with the Nikkor 85mm/1.4 Ais, something I'm pretty sure I learned form Bjørn R.'s original website.
Also discovered just now: The 135/2 Ais and the 300/4 AF-S also accept the 5T and 6T with the appropriate step-down rings, 72-62 and 77-62 respectively.
Note: I haven't 'quality tested' any of these combos except the 85/1.4 plus 5T/6T, but back of camera LCD viewing looks promising.

No vignetting with them on the 180mm?

No apparent vignetting with any of the lenses mentioned.  There may be physical aperture restriction that cuts out a small bit of light transmission wide open, and that may affect the out of focus rendering, but even if there was such an effect, it'd be circular and hard to detect.
I shot some informal handheld tests with the 135/2 plus 6T---worked fine.  Pleasant dreamy look wide open that sharpens as the lens is stopped down, with a fairly flat field.
I'll check the 180 today and post the results later in this thread.

Yes, agree it works.    It works even on the 17-35, but not at 17mm   ;)
