I'm sure the internet will tell you which one to buy :)

You need to connect to the internet in the first place!   :o :o :o

You guys are not helping me!!

If I get a Mac from B&H - I can't very well send it back if I have any issues!!

The New MacBook Pro series is getting a lot of flack for not being Pro,,,

Seems the performance is not up to what the 'Pros' where expecting,,, the AMD graphic processor use a lot of juice compared to NVIDIA, not what was expected,,,   the new keyboard is still flat and not much better than the old and on top of that the' USB-C only' - It seems even die hard Apple fans are complaining now,,,

I was checking out the new 13" Space grey without the touch bar yesterday, sure its small and nimble and looks sleek but I'll pass this one. Maybe the 'All options' tick marked are up to the Pro name, I don't know.

Reminds me of when the first MacBook Pro series came out with Retina display, when working with graphics and images the screen refresh rate was so slow it was unusable,,,

I have decided also to give this one a miss. I believe the 2017 model will look better - and I will try to hold out for that one. Let's give them some space to breathe

Also decided to skip these for now as the MBA still works just fine.

That might change though, promised myself a DJI Mavic Pro drone for Christmas on the condition that the rooms upstairs have been painted 8)

Processing 4K video on a 5 year old MBA might just kill it  ;D
Cheers,
Jan Anne

Erik, are you talking about the bad performance of the 15" models or just the 13" without the touch bar?
I will get used to the keyboard and to USB-C ports, but I will NOT get used to bad performance :)

Maybe Eric was referring to the first generation Retina Macbook Pros (Mid 2012, in my case) that had a defective Retina screen that had horrendous  image retention problems...a ghost 'afterimage' lingers for many minutes after the screen content has been changed.
I have one.  I use it with an external monitor.  Apple offered it to me for pennies as a repair replacement when they couldn't fix my older MBPro.

Here is a video editors opinion after a week using one of the new MBP 15 w/touchbar:

Hi,

any Thinkpaduser here? Fixed battery, fixed Ram, proprietary SSD. If i could choose: Appledisplay combined with a Thinkpad. ;)
