The "lip" licks already outside ... very subtle color scapew and soft gradients. Love it!

I did a further edit to brighten the image a little and push the contrast. Thanks for the suggestion - hope it presents a little better.

I do love rhododendrons. The blooms are exquisite, but plants themselves can look malnourished - it seems that they exhaust themselves in the effort of blooming.
