A or B, darker or lighter? Comment and ideas welcome. Color?

A carries more graphic impact. B needs some extra work to make the foreground and its patterns more visible.

I would pump up the shadows in both and ease on the contrast (or blackness) :)
But that's just blurry/pale me :)

well... the foreground on B is of some interest of itself. here it is. A got some refined treatment as well.

For me, the interest is purely graphic.  I much prefer A for that reason, and I don't like the versions with the shadows lightened.

I strongly prefer the foreground-lightened version of the first shot. The composition makes me yearn to pan the camera slightly to the right.

Thanks, Les. I'm still not settled with any of those. The graphic element is strong, as is the light and the perspective.

Thanks, pluton. Appreciate your annotation. The scene had some divergin aspects in it's balance, either in the perspective or in the graphics.
I choosed a framing that intentionally left some of the graphics element tension while keeping the far away view point clear.
Glad you feel it as well.
As it interferes with your perception, does it bug you or does it just rise your interest?
