Boulders
« on: February 25, 2016, 19:14:55 »
Shot some interesting boulders, used a bit of flash, gelled it to see what the effect could be. Interested to hear feedback.

Hehe, close, but no sigar. Maybe someone else wants to guess?

I also thought the effect was interesting, thanks for looking and commenting.

White rock sugar, the German term would be 'weisser Kandis'?
It's neutral white, quite but not fully clear, and translucent.
The effect can be done with it.

Ouch, i got busted quickly!

Correct these are sugar crystals and they are, as Thomas says, more or less translucent.

Shot with 135AIS with a reversed 50 (i think) in front of it.
