Many themed topics are object oriented, time to do something light oriented ;D

Please show us your favourite backlit images, here's a few of mine.

Of course this one had to be my opening shot with three of the four amigos in one shot ;D

Backlight is probably one of my favorites. Many lovely examples in this thread make me think I am not the only one :)

Hi Børge, only one of your images is showing properly, they others are 0kb.

Fons, moody light is the main subject in these series of topics, I don't care what that light source is.

With backlit images the main light source is coming from behind the subject rendering the subject black (as in out of DR range) or lit with subtle and moody reflective light.

Your first image with the chairs in the church nails it, in your second image you completely killed the mood by lifting the shadows to normal light levels.

Here's a similar image where the light was trying to make its way into the alley enhancing the tunnelling effect of the small alley.

Ok, must have something to do with fact that I'm far off the grid, in a cabin in the middle of a snowstorm... One more try. Moon bakclight.
