Jan Anne, now I realize that die Blaue Stunde (l'Heure Bleu) is not only a wonderful fragrance, it is also a magic image.
Here is my contribution: high altitude winds. it is an infrared shot (D70, 720nm filter) taken in the volcano area in France's central mountain chain.
Many thanks for the compliment but can easily return the compliment.
I was looking at your image, grabbed a bowl of chips to go with the beer and was still looking at your image when I finished the bowl
So many things to look at and appreciate, from breaking the "horizon on one third" rule to make the clouds look more impressive, the waviness of the horizon continued in the cloud patterns, the mountain on the horizon which also has its counterparts in the clouds, the gradual transition from bright to dark, the fence / tree line walking the eye into the image, etc, etc.
All in all I am truly impressed and really enjoyed taking it all in.
