Ken's image above made me think of the "Land of the long white cloud", of my holiday there in the film era.

Scan of a slide (shot on Velvia 100F with FM3a and probably 24mm f/2.8 AIS), somewhere along a road we were driving.

Clouds? of course. The last sunlight and the end of the day, of all time? Arranged with nikons d850+pc19. Location is Munich city, with "downtown" Haidhausen. Area is known as Bordeauxplatz, with the Wörthstraße from right to the left side. byebye,richard

Was chasing clouds on a stormy day trying to get to an horizon that was open and had a view I liked as the clouds were forming quickly and falling apart even faster. Saw this - okay - but the storm was unrelenting. Took this snap and by the time I was back behind the wheel of my car, the sky opened up - inundation!

Looks like a marbling print.  Very dynamic!
