The "naked tree" concept is old as photography itself, but this version and its execution feel wonderfully fresh nonetheless. Kudos, Børge.

Confined to taking pictures almost exclusively in the dark, leaves few alternatives, but make opportunities available.

I'not sure what I am seeing here, but I assume it's a mountain. Without a title I would still be in the dark. I like being left in the dark 8)

The profile of this mountain (Falketind => Falcon's Peak) should be familiar enough to anyone visiting the Jotunheimen range of Central Southern Norway. It is very popular amongst mountaineers.

As the weather tends to change rapidly here due to the proximity of the Western Coast, I simply waited until the peak was nearly hidden by a developing storm before pressing the shutter. Nothing magical at all just the weather change.

Børge that light painting is very nicely done, it also works well with the uncorrected WA shot!

From yesterday's excursion into the hinterland.

An old wood cabin dilapidated by years of neglect, now adorned by hoar frost around the broken windows.

A field test of the 18 mm f/3.5 Nikkor, by the way. It came through just fine :D

The Ents agglomerate to keep their warmth in the depths of the ice-cold winter.
