Thank you Thomas!
I am cycling past this puddle at a construction site for days, and I always wanted to take a photo. But today I had some flowers (weeds), and the gear with me, so I stopped and took a photo of the reflection in the puddle.

The "weed" is likely a Barbarea vulgaris. Nice capture, as always.

Thank you Bjørn! As you know your words mean a lot to me.

Here is the background that I was talking about and the barbarea vulgaris (i like the vulgaris part).
Initially I wanted to make this as a double exposure and show the vulgar part with the huge cable rolls that have been lying there for months, nicely stacked in front of the puddle. Usually I see seagulls playing around but never had the urgency to get off my bicycle. It must the combination of Df + 45P that got me taking photos this time :)

'Vulgaris' just means 'common'. Thus nothing vulgar about the epithet at all..

Thank you Bjørn, excuse my ignorance. I didn't know that it means "common" in Latin. I am so vulgar :)

A beach in the wonderful Nordic 'blue hours'. This kind of blue light is actually perceived as warm, not cold.

OK, let me begin appreciating the photos!

One of great qualities that I have learned from over the years, that simplicity and scenes that look quite ordinary, if framed properly can make a great image, just like his waves :)

Pink of Armando is gentle and tender, just like flowers should be.

Harald's bird is so cute, probably my favorite of the lost.

Thomas' tree is nice just like John's statue. Amazed how you guys see these things

I suppose this also qualifies as monochrome

"Joost, that's' beautiful. What is it?"

thank you. It is the (dried) outer skin of a red onion, put flat on a transparant board, and backlit by flash from the underside.

Nice! Composition works and I would have guessed some kind of insect wing. It proves that anything goes as a motiv.
