This is a more expressive self portrait using whatever means I had at my disposal at the time. I'm still very pleased with this image.

D200 (IR), Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm f/4, snowy river.

Please indulge me if I have posted this or simlar earlier.

This is a great expression!  I haven't seen anything similar before, so no need to worry.  :)

Birna can you explain how you get this image!
I cannot understand what the “black holes” are

"Black holes" are marks in the snow. Late spring snow thaws so any impressed structure gets enlarged. Likely hoof marks made by European elk ('moose') Alces alces on the snow-covered river. This is early April thus the snow would be pretty rotten by then.

I have an inkling about what I did on that occasion and any one probably can do the same. Photography after all is just playing with light onto a scene.

This is what 11 years can do to you. I didn't believe this was possible till it actually happened.

"Fake news" by Nikon Z5 (PrimaLuce) & 28-45mm f/4.5 Zoom-Nikkor.

To the naked eye, my leather skirt is black and my leopard-patterned tights are blue and black.  And my sweater (intruding at the lower edge) is bright red.

Birna, you are sexy as ever.
Hans_S, this photo is very similar to my attempts, although i used the AW-1.
Fons, playing with reflections.

Jakov, how I would have loved to have an AW-1 back in 198x when I took this shot...the Nikonos was more than a little disappointing.

The Nikonos IV was prone to leakage hence I quickly abandoned it in favour of the V. I still have a couple of Nikonos V bodies and all the lenses, including the fabulous 15mm f/2.8 UW-Nikkor, somewhere in my cupboards. Been a while since last used though, which is a pity. Having a digital version of the Nikonos capable of using those Nikonos optics would really be something :) The AW1 is very good, but I don't entirely trust their longevity. One out of my 3 AW1 bodies is already malfunctioning. Another had a small leak that fortunately didn't incapacitate the camera as I detected it early on and was able to dry out the camera. Working in fresh water confers  advantages -- such incidents in sea water would be bad.
