[Theme] Autumn Color
« on: November 06, 2015, 12:32:51 »
Autumn is now in full bloom. I took a set of wonderful images in the forest yesterday, AND: I want to see yours.

If you live heads down (**ggg**) you can fill these pages with your pictures when we are hit by spring next year and we Northerners will continue next year and so on.

(falling) Leaves and fruit in abundance, colors, Fungi, try to visualize the smell of wet earth in a forest, go out shoot in the rain, the fog, ....
You are out there. You and your camera. You can shoot or not shoot as you please. Discover the world, Your world. Show it to us. Or we might never see it.

Some nice autumn shots Frank.

I was out in the fog and rain a few days ago. In the forest it was misty and colors not so intense - more silent autumn shots.

Great idea Frank.  Nice shots already.

This is one from a series 'Autumn in the City'; the city is not so visible here but it's in Wilhelminapark, in the middle of the city.

Autumn is one of my favourite four seasons ... Lasts not long, but offers endless photographic opportunities.

Leaves of Norway Maple on a red car. (Nikon D200, 35/3.5 Noflexar using the built-in close-up focusing mode of the lens).

The leather-like small leaves of the Dwarf Birch (Betula nana) turning copper red heralds the advance of autumn in the Norwegian mountains.

Some of mine, during a holiday weekend (week ago), couldn't go anywhere because kid ill, around the little holiday house.

Stunning shots all over, really impressive. The "leather-like" is probably my favorite of all so far but very hard to choose. I sadly can't really compete with such high standards - I must get out and shoot more! Here's my humble picture.
