I was very lucky with this shoot the bird stays for a couple of minutes on the same branch maybe it needs to show the catch to others, seeking company, before eat the spider and leave 8)

The Plovers (Charadrius) have a fascinating way of causing distraction by acting as if wounded/having a broken wing to protect the nest. A friend and I observed this behavior at a shore - he was out to test his Z 180-600 and got quite close to a Plover and had plenty of time to get some nice images. It turned out we were quite close its nest and their eggs are well camouflaged and blends with the pebbles on a beach. Luckily we didn't step on them - seems the distraction worked.
