Here are two shots from yesterdays walk
Swallows are my top desire shooting birds in flight for the reason that is  always challenging 8)

Considering the crop & AF challenges, these are clear and sharp Nasos - a lovely result

Thank you Hans and Colin  :)   I cheat it somehow Colin with Topaz Labs to enhance clarity on high crops and 1/4000 sec to be on safe side 8)
The challenge for me is to have the bird in the viewfinder and for the camera to be in focus ;D

The balcony is still stork-free, Lars. However, a few years ago I had one in the garden and after a heavy rain the poor thing was completely soaked and a bit confused. After a while he managed to fly away.

Thanks, Jürgen - that's a nice story and a great shot. I would have loved to get so close to a Stork in my backyard.

The red-eyed bee-eater is probably an adult, and the brown-eyed one is younger. That happens to my carrier pigeons.
