Yep, great topic for a thread. Sorry, I only just found this.
It was hilarious viewing Elsa's pix as I was actually listening to "Tripe face Boogie" at the time....

Meanwhile here are a couple of mine

Starting in Hyderabad...

Colin - I really enjoyed your photos. Not only they are unique, showing culture but you also caught them "in action" perfectly. Kudos! Thanks for sharing.

Happier days.....before the Ban on Beef, D610, 35-70 2.8D
Tom - Beautiful photos! I too hope happier days will return again soon! How can they ban all good stuff! :)

The bags of spice is great - I wish I knew how to cook with all of it.

Spice shots are wonderful. Like the angles and close shots.

Shouldn't that be like with all spices (or ingredients altogether)? Throw them in a pan and put some fire under it  :P

Took the Df,a7II and EM1 to the Friday Market.... one camera too many  :( .  By 9 AM it was too hot already . Became too crowded.

a7II, Voigtlander 75 f2.5 Color Heliar handheld,   PS CC

Just a very striking looking woman walking towards me. Certainly not the normal fashion.

Df,DC105 f2D handheld CNX2
and one from the EM1, 75 1.8

Just messing around with PP  ;)
