Shot with SIGMA fp and K Nikkor 400/5.6 ED.  A heavily cropped image upscaled with the new "Super Resolution" function of ACR.

Full daylight moon

Shot in full daylight (10:35 am). High up in the mountains, the sky becomes dark enough to allow visibility of the moon.

Thanks for the kind words, Birna and Øivind.

I looked up the photo data, I have used the humble Zoom-Nikkor DX 18-200mm VR (1st ed., the one without the zoom creep lock) @200mm. Humble but light, very useful when carrying a heavy backpack and cannot take a full photo arsenal with you.
