Very nice result, Armando. I have to try a stack next time.

Impressive !

I tried stacking in PS in the past, but it involved a lot of manual cropping and aligning, very tedious and the results were not really better than a single image.
So I didn't think stacking was worth it with the moon,
Now that I tried PIPP it is easy and fast to do the cropping and aligning the images
Then registax also very fast, does the stacking eliminating the noise, and sharpens extracting subtle details

Really great result Armando, lots of detail without over sharpening. You have captured a moon phase that provides interesting light.Trying out stacking for resolution/compensation for atmospheric disturbance has been on my to do list for a while, but I end up just taking a number of exposures and selecting the best one...
