Yep, single shot at iso100, 1/60s, f/5.6, -2EV comp.
Had a minor minor blur issue which I remedied in PS.

I had an errand outside and looking at the moon I was thinking about making a capture. At -30°C I thought "Cold Moon" would be a suitable title. But you made the capture for me with the right cold tone. So I will leave it at that and remain warm inside, as I am sure your seeing is much better - another nice capture!

Very nice image, I see V1 sensor is doing a very good job

Nice clear weather tonight so had to go outside to tage a shot at the moon, (waxing crescent 22%).
V1 200-500 @500mm f5.6
Processed as B/W

A clear warm night in Seattle after a few damp, cold days, combined with the near shut-down of air travel, so this is probably as good as the seeing ever gets here in the Jet city.  D810 300 mm f/4 with the 1.4 converter, f/8 ISO64.  Contrast-stretched a bit in Photoshop.  The 1600px image is a 100% crop.  Tomorrow is a full moon so I will have to see if I can find a park in walking distance with a nice view to the eastern horizon.

Is it possible to circle in where the moon landings took place?
Any telescopes that can actual show the equipment they left on the moon?
It requires that they landed at the side on the moon which faces the earth….of course.
Probably very cold on the "dark side".

…..but I had expected more detailed images. Hubble telescope or the large telescopes on earth can probably not do it better.

And fascinating to think that so many years afterwards, the tracks of the astronauts' footprints are still visible.

Yes and we can make a little competition and use the American flag (the stripes) on the moon as MTF resolution chart and see who has most resolving power in their Nikon equipment.
You would probably be surprised if I can show a clearly visible flag using my D5200 and AF-P 70-300 DX lens :-)
First I have to locate exactly where the flag is "planted". On some images a shadow of the flag is visible.
