Jakov, thanks for your observation. The poles were placed to signal that the previously open route is now closed to vehicles.  As you can see, a few vehicles ignored the closure.  I was tempted to do so myself, it would have saved me a several-mile walk.

Love walking through the image, the use of all those different natural and manmade lines, use  f the empty space to give strength to the lines and the overall harmony. Lovely ambiance and great yet subtle impact.

In contrast to dear friend Jakov, the complicated task of my recent moving out of Oslo  has drained all energy away from any creative photography the last months. As I begin to settle in, an urge to pick up the camera again can be hard to resist.
