Going through some old scans I came across this one, taken about 15 years ago with an Olympus 35RC of my favorite photographer. We go  to Rhode Island nearly every year for our anniversary.  Recently came back from #33.

Matthew, there is something special about this image. In drawn back and again to her gaze. There is relaxed intimacy and connection, warmth, easy going friendliness...all very appealing. The image is her and you capture it. So difficult to explain but: olé!

Great image Matthew - as others have remarked.

On a lighter note - is it your wife's tripod?  I certainly cannot persuade my wife to carry my tripod!  ;D
(In fact she won't even chop the wood - even if I hold the lantern!  As per the old song.  LOL)

Yesterday, at a visit to "Den Gamle By" (the old town) museum, i caught my son taking a snap, of his older sister.
The museum is in Aarhus, Denmark. But that a whole other story...

ISO 800, 1/6 sek. f/3.3, 35mm With a ol beaten up AF Nikkor 35-70mm f.1:3.3-4.5 on a D200
Handhelt and only a crop done.
Ol nerd on a vintage budget...

I have shared already more than one image of sunsets in this beach and I hope to do more so in the future. Cadiz province, "Costa de la Luz", my personal corner of paradise on earth.
