Cold morning
Very nice shot John. Looks cold indeed, especially seeing the smokes from those chimneys.
Love the clouds on top of it.

I think this was Tri-X in my old speed graphic with 6 1/2" Ilex Paragon.

Saeed speaks about Film Making, Life and the state of the world.... yet another event  but at least Saeed is a good friend and I knew most of the people  :) .  Just playing with the B&W yet again.

Thor, love the dark tone and subject matter.  Very well done.

The Sid,  I really like the starkness of that 2nd image.  Nice composition.   Have a great time in Crete.

Hello Tom,
It was a windless, cloudy afternoon, with some fog and calm water. I like to take photos of old fishing boats.
Crete is a destination that offers a lot to the visitor. We will try to get as much as we can. You might have been tempted to join, if you were located closer or if you had won the lottery.

Here is another for you Tom, shot the same day as the one you liked.
It seems you love b&w and you are extremely good at it.

I really like this as well.  I have a fondness for ramshackle wooden structures  :) .  I'm using/learning B&W more these days,  Thanks.   I have spent several Temporary Assignments at the old Naval Air Station , Souda Bay so know the area fairly well. Funny War Stories about me and Souda Bay during the 1st Gulf War  ;).   Yup, the lottery win would help but also my son's school schedule just doesn't work.  Some Island hopping would really suit me at the moment.  It has been too long since I've been to Greece  :(.  No Retsina in Goa!
Enjoy,
Tom
