Great picture with those « textures » (some of them might being dangerous?) !

Yes for the textures and shapes. It works wonderfully. I keep looking at it...  :)

+1 indeed from me also.  Nice work Tom.

Love Jack's dog as well.

Overall this is a great thread - most enjoyable - well done all.

Great picture with those « textures » (some of them might being dangerous?) !

Thanks all  :) .  I periodically try to move outside my box , but not as much since my teenager stopped going out with me or using his several cameras :( .
Jacques, no danger from those two.  The snake is the house Rat Snake and the other is that Purple/red centipede that curls up with any vibration.   Have not had a Cobra in the house for about 18 months.

Fons, the color version is stunningly beautiful, but this high-key B&W treatment looks appealing as well.

Nice image. I think it could use a bit more brightness, but maybe that is just unwarranted cheeriness on my part.

Indeed the snow organizes the clutter in a nice way, a Zen perspective.

Thank you, Jack.  I was a bit conservative in the treatment of the white snow in order to preserve its texture.

Thank you, Fons.  Yes, this would be some kind of Zen simplification.

Some times it is what I do not see  ;) .  Not great PP and is sharp but it is also my wife who must approve  ;) .   Both taken with Sony a7ii , Voigt Nokton 50 f1.5 at f1.5  (used Techart Pro so all say f2).  At last night's Event.   There was an Italian Artist/Photographer ( I loaned him my Df,58 1.4 since all he is travelling with is his Fuji X100 F).  He was getting great images from his Fuji.  Have not seen his Df images but he normally shoots D810 with his 58 1.4.   Class and skill really show  :)
