Erik, it's a great shot!
Even greater is the fact that you are wearing Adidas  ;D
I hope you guys are having a great time in Amsterdam, and I wish you a pleasant journey home!

Let me show you yet another flower image illustrating the superior optical quality and design of the Helios (Zenit 85/1.5) coupled with my vast experience in acquiring bitingly sharp images  ::)
Don't ask me how I managed to provoke a rainbow and the black hole on the bottom part of the image. The only thing I do know is that I was shooting into the sun - Helios :D
Perhaps it was the wine tasting that blurred my vision...

Well ... two can play that game, didn't even need the exotic lens  :o 8) I can't do it with a flower though  :P

Hans, you did use an exotic lens but more importantly your photographic skills. Great image.
I can hardly wait to see more!

Thanks Jakov.

I'll post more images, but i'll be away for the next week for work. So, it'll have to wait. By that time this thread will probably need some "freshen up"  :)

Usually I read about special nature events the day after in the news papers but with so many photogs in one place I was informed in time for a change ;D

Hans borrowed me his 300/4 to which I mounted my universal spare Arca plate, dressed accordingly and of course the mandatory passing around of the Laphroaig bottle did the rest of keeping us warm during the cold night while strengthening our comradeship.

While my compadres where very busy running around with flowers to do cool multiple exposures I concentrated on dialling in the settings with a unfamiliar lens and enjoyed the phenomena as much as possible while pressing the shutter in regular intervals.

So not as creative as the other moon images but more as a prove that I was out there in the field as well with Bjørn, Erik and Jakovic ;)

Blood Moon Eclipse

Sony a7s with Nikkor 300/4 @ f/4, ISO20000 and 1/4 second
Cheers,
Jan Anne
