Just browsed through my "Sold" portfolio and there must be hundreds of my unsharp images sold over the years. In fact, by not deleting them straight away in the normal manner, I have earned tens of thousands of dollars. Should be food for thought ??

Just do note that the same way a photo isn't necessary outstanding because it is super sharp,  an unsharp image isn't great because of the lack of sharpness. Worth keep in mind.

Here are a few images that have netted me thousands of dollars *each*. I could easily add a hundred more.

"Sharpness is a bourgeois concept" - how very true.

I'll add a couple of birds:

Gary, Jakov, Frank: You are way too kind.
Luckily for me a problem (too little available light) could be turned into the solution.

Kjetil, these are much more birds than many bird pictures I've seen

Both involved, camera movement, multiple exposures and, in the first one, some outlines, using "find edges."

All photos are nice. How can they not be they are blurry. But these last two that Eb posted are like paintings, really impressive.
