I can't decide if these are unsharp enough for this subject but I posted them anyway.

I so very much agree with Lars. It feels sharpness is so overrated after seeing this thread.

Here are a few "unsharp" portraits. The one of my grandmother was on a 135/2.8. The girl with her eyes closed is with a 50/1.8d at 2.8, and the girl with coffee is my 50/1.2 wide open. That one's only "unsharp" because the DOF was too thin to include both of her eyes
