Seeing all these images, one wonders whether AF ever can be expected to work :D

we should even question the necessity of focussing as an important means of photographic expression

focussing is for the weak and people documenting the inner value of their expensive glass....

hahaha...

To be honest this thread is the best photography thread I have ever seen. I'm too modest to post my own shots yet but I'm getting there. Thanks to the starter and thanks to Nikongear staff. This is awesome!

Hi lucy ... I feel the real name policy is still there but not enforced?

Yet, the "blown heads" are very cool.

I saw a show at a museum once and the artist's signature was: ALL heads blown ... headshots .... hahaha

The full name policy is now implemented on NG. All new registered members have to fill out the information requested. Plus we have searched for name information from all previously registered members.

No matter, (I hope,) a sharp element seems to intrude.

A pinhole is a good tool for the unsharp image, especially when combined with a longer exposure time.  :)
