I have not returned it, which for me says a lot. I believe I will keep it and use it as my wide-angle of choice until Zeiss gets around to producing what I imagine will be a jaw-dropping wide-angle Otus APO.

I am curious what you folks think who have this lens?

Michael, have you tried out the Zeiss 25/2 ? Flare and coma might be better than the Sigma's according to reviews, while the rest seems +/- equivalent.

If it is soft.....it needs fine tuning.....try it.

If your 24mm AFS 1.4 is soft it should go in for service, it's defective.

Thank you guys. It might be the combo of the alien NPS-D810 and my 1.4/24G. The D600 and D3 went to service two times together with the lens until focus was acquired correctly
