Loonse en Drunese duinen.  Crowded in the weekend but no soul on a rainy day with occasional sun.

It is lovely!

For some reason, it put me in mind of Monty Python's Killer Rabbit  :o

Tedious museum work these days - I have to make pollen slides from nearly every herbarium sheet in order to make a species determination. After some hours of making the slides, then examining them, my head spins. Time to call it a day and head for home.

After snapping this picture off my work desk, I realised the photo could be posted under the 'RGB' theme as well :)

Today the weather truly was awful. Peasoup-like and ice cold fog all over, limiting free sight to <50m, +1C. Not at all conducive to outdoor photography.

Nevertheless, I did some work along our local narrow-gauge railway which is a protected cultural heritage item. They even kept a section of the old telephone line with the poles along the tracks -- something one almost never sees in the wild anymore in this country.

Nikon Z fc, Nikkor 300mm f/4 PF.

Thank you. Yes, the 300PF works well on the little Z fc and the combination handles quite nicely too. Most long Nikkors don't do this because the outfit becomes too front heavy. The 400mm f/4.5Z is a borderline case.

I must admit that I find the black Z fc endearing and enjoyable as a walk-around camera. Thus I don't regret selling my first Z fc, which was a 'panda' model and replacing it with an all-black one.

Nikon Zf is likely a 'better' camera, but its heft can be too much for casual shooting.

Election day in Tilburg

Reprocessed an image of March 2018. The Textile museum is one of the voting locations. This statue is the first female politician of Tilburg Miet van Puijenbroek who was one of the founders of the Textile museum
