A wildlife rescue specialist was giving presentations at the fair. He entertained and educated with equal aplomb. Part of his job is to rescue exotic creatures whose erstwhile owners cannot handle.

New RAFCamera M80x1 to Z adapter allows easy focus to infinity with my Oude Delft Rayxars.

You're really traveling "light" these days, Paco :)

with the fierce Spish sun I surmise the slow end of the kit zoom doesn't create too many difficulties?

Since I'm running a lot of pratical tests with the "X-ray" lenses due to the new adapters, it was also time to revisit some older pictorial attempts. This is one of them, in which I had difficulties keeping the moving subject in focus and PTGui simply bombed out on the following image stitching. Nevertheless I fancied the outcome, but that's me in a nutshell (?)

I got incoming from the local gear provider. Possibly the best small flash on the market today

First test result with the Z105MC on the Zf looks promising.

The Power of the beast is eye watering. A blasting LOT of light. WOW.

Yes, I am, and it adds some benefits for sure. We have plenty light for the f6.3 with no ibis as you well know  ;)
It is compact on top of light weight and the image quality is surprisingly good for both the camera and the kit lens. Af keeps up with other lenses too. I'm glad I took on the offer Nikon Spain gave me on July.

Yes. We were all surprised to learn that the venom is only one tenth as strong as a bee's. He jabbed his thumb on the stinger to prove it.

This boa constrictor is an example of why it is important to do your research before taking on a pet. Its previous owner had meant well by maintaining a ready supply of food. However, these snakes are opportunistic eaters. In other words, if food is available then they will eat it. So instead of being approximately 25 pounds, she is 55 pounds and on a diet!
