That lecture sounds very interesting Birna

Her lecture was part of the opening talks for a new treatment centre of our regional university hospital, focusing on gender identity issues. Afterwards, we had *cake* -- it actually tasted even better than it looks :)

At least 10 years. The surface looks still good.

Hmmm... my U330 stored on the same open shelf became frosty...  I wonder why... ::)

Different climates come to mind. I have had a U330 for 25+ years, still good.

The "weapon of choice" for flowers and other close-ups these days, when I don't want the easiest approach. One of the several Nikon 1V1 bodies I got for free from our national Nikon repair centre over time has been converted to 52/42/39mm thread mount.

The lens depicted here is the legendary Ultra-Micro-Nikkor 28mm f/1.8.

The double country village Baarle Nassau / Baarle Hertog is very busy on Sunday. Here we see the main street in the Dutch part.  But large parts of the village are Belgium.  On the left we see one of the many boundary markers in stone.

Fons, I'm really enjoying your images from Bouxwiller and the traditional houses - 20 years ago I visited Husseren-les-Châteaux (at a hotel with Dutch/Danish owners, btw.), Eguisheim and Colmar ca. 70 km south of Strasbourg.

Thank you Lars!

What an interesting and strange lens.

It was pretty dark when I shot this.  The D5 reveals a lot at 64000 ISO
