Nearly 50 years the Saturday market was on the Koningsplein.  Today it has been moved permantently to a different square because the Koningsplein will be a park in the future.

Many thanks Fons - did you solve the Zf AF issues?

For the greater part i have tackled the issue by locking the focus point in a central position. Over
time i noticed that it s a thing that happens more often among the mirrorless also different brands like Sony etc.
Cameras misfocus or don't focus at all, etc..

Ian, if you chose a better angle you could use foreshortening to make your dog look a little less long.

Thanks for the suggestion, David. I had to look up foreshortening. I can see how it would work when drawing. Is the angle that you have in mind a bit higher?

My x-t3 also has a temperemental auto focus
Settings that work on my D800 behave differently and I rarely get the sharpness I can obtain with the D800, specially with moving subjects,  static subjects are usually not a problem

Any angle where the head of your dog is closer to the lens than the tail. :)

A short telephoto such as an 85mm or 105mm on 36x24mm format helps without being obvious.

Dachshunds make sweet pets but they are also fierce hunters. I miss Moxie. I miss all my dogs.

Best,

Dave
