This is superb Jürgen

Hayfield laid to dry

How the stacking has influenced the d.o.f. is a bit lost on me Birna.

Same principle as the focus stacking approach used for macro and microscope work, but on a much bigger scale. Best done with a medium long lens to avoid scene warping away from the centre.

With the view camera one usually tilted either front or rear standards to redistribute DOF. That came at a cost for the geometry. Thus the emulation sketched here makes less geometric distortion and still has the zone of DOF as a plane normal to the optical axis, instead of the cone you got with the view camera. Either approach work well within their constraints, but the stacking is better if tall objects are encountered, and the scene is static.

Had the recently acquired Z 28mm f/2.8 on the Z7_2 at neutral settings @ f/3.5, iso 64, 10 sec exposure.
Not bitingly sharp yet pleasing, sometimes referred to as micro contrast, low elements lens design.
