I always hesitate to share--my ex telling me a good camera would be wasted on me is seared into me--but I notice differently and remember more while hiking with a camera, and I enjoy trying. This small moment was with a NIKKOR Z 180-600mm:

Again, the endearing narrow-gauge railway 'Tertitten', here represented by  the century-old locomotive 'Höland'  (name is written with the German 'ö' instead of the Norwegian 'ø', as the machine is made in Germany).


Nikon Z5, Rodenstock TV-Heligon 50mm f/0.75, IR-filter B+W 093. The Heligon softens quite noticeably when used for IR, but that effect simply adds to the charm of using (or rather, abusing) this vintage X-ray lens.
