If one pushes the camera hard enough, even a stock Zf may record a tad of IR.
In this case, the Nikkor 40mm f/2 was used wide open and camera settings ISO3200 and 1/5 sec. filter is R72, which is the "mildest" one of the true IR filters. Camera was hand-held. Sharpness is quite good actually, proving that AF focusing and VR in-camera did help, but noise is on the high side for a modern sensor. Thus the stock camera does not really *like* IR, just pretending to be IR-capable. Oh well, I don't believe in its bragging and have modifed Z camera (Z5, Z6) for true IR purpose. Just a quick experiments during my morning coffee break anyway.
