Image shot at f2 with a manual focus Voigtländer 75mm f1.5 lens (Leica mount) on an Olympus E-M10II MicroFourThirds camera.

Walked around today with the D5300 ir deeper filter and  the 70-300 vr. It works every time. Focusing with liveview is very easy and spot on, of course. Plenty of detail in the frame and no hotspots at f8 as seen here.

Probably the ultimate macho expression? Personally, it's a turn-off

Having just seen the film Mad Max: Furiosa, this imagery ties in completely with that culture ;)

Still far too early for the spring flood in "my" river, however currents are definitively getting swifter in the last days. Anyone unfortunate enough to tumble into the river wouldn't last for long. It's a popular place to visit for suicidally inclined persons, by the way.

There are a few industrial warehouses close to my place. Close enough to walk around.

"Behind the clouds, the sun shines every day". A well-know Norwegian song by song writer Jack Berntsen and lyrics by Herbjørg Wassmo.

My humble visualisation attempt of the samre.

Oops -- should have checked the EXIF -- this image was taken with the Laowa 11mm f/4.5, not the viltrox 20/2.8. Not that this changes the image an iota, of course. Just indicates to me I should drink morning coffe before posting to NG!!

Great image! We have a similar expression, probably a well known phrase worldwide!
