Glass was expensive and heavily taxed in the early nineteenth century. So the farmhouse had small windows on the north side and larger ones on the south side, where they would be of more use.

I can only guess that the Z 4.5/400mm S is a great lens. I did no really have the physical strength to properly test it and tomorrow it ships back to Nikon...


... taking a few snapshots on the way to church this morning tells me that if I should need a 400mm lens it would be a great choice


1) it is light weight
2) AF is super fast
3) MF is snappy due to high contrast rendering.
